Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before the work begins.
Scope, turnaround, deliverables and the information we need from your team.
Do you provide construction estimating services across the United States?
Yes. We support contractors, developers, architects, engineers and construction managers nationwide.
Do you provide architectural design and permit plans?
Yes. We develop architectural plans, elevations, sections, schedules and details for the agreed project stage. Where a jurisdiction requires an architect's seal, final issuance is coordinated with an appropriately licensed design professional.
Do you provide structural and MEP engineering?
Yes. We provide structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering and coordination. Required signing and sealing depends on the project jurisdiction, discipline, document scope and review by the appropriately licensed Professional Engineer.
Can Antenity prepare a complete set of plans?
Yes. We can coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings into a full plan set for the agreed permit, bid or construction-document stage, subject to project scope and jurisdiction requirements.
What files should I send?
The latest drawings, specifications, addenda, scope notes and bid deadline are the best starting point. We will identify any missing information.
How fast can you complete an estimate?
Turnaround depends on project size and trade scope. Smaller reviews may be completed in 24–48 hours; larger projects receive a confirmed delivery schedule.
Do you estimate HVAC and MEP systems?
Yes. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, ELV and integrated MEP scopes are core services.
Can you work with our current BIM or design team?
Yes. We can coordinate with your existing team and align deliverables with their models, drawings and naming standards.
Do you provide conceptual and detailed estimates?
Yes. We support early feasibility, schematic budgeting, design-development estimates, detailed bid estimates and change-order reviews.
What is included in a quantity takeoff?
Deliverables can include measured quantities, trade breakdowns, BOQs, assumptions, exclusions and marked-up drawings depending on the agreed scope.
Can you revise an estimate after design changes?
Yes. We can update quantities and pricing as drawings evolve, helping your team understand the cost effect of each revision.
Do you provide P.E. stamping nationwide?
We coordinate engineering review, signing and sealing for eligible projects across U.S. jurisdictions. Availability depends on the project state, engineering discipline, document scope and an appropriately licensed Professional Engineer.
What do you need for a P.E. stamping review?
Send the project address, authority requirements, applicable drawings, calculations, specifications and the discipline that requires a seal. We confirm jurisdiction and licensure eligibility before the work begins.
Can Antenity stamp drawings prepared by another team?
Potentially. The responsible Professional Engineer must be able to perform the required technical review, request revisions and take professional responsibility for the final documents. We assess the package before confirming the service.
Do you prepare shop drawings and coordination drawings?
Yes. We prepare construction, shop, HVAC and MEP coordination drawings using the approved design information, product data and project standards supplied by your team.
Can you provide BIM clash detection and model coordination?
Yes. We can federate discipline models, run focused clash reviews, organize issues by trade and location, and support tracked coordination through resolution.
What levels of BIM modeling do you support?
We support LOD 300, 400 and 500 requirements when the element scope, required information, intended use and verification standard are defined at the start.
Do you create architectural renderings?
Yes. We create interior, exterior and 3D architectural renderings from the available plans, elevations, finish selections and visual references.
Can you evaluate lifecycle and operating costs?
Yes. We can compare capital, energy, maintenance, repair and replacement costs over an agreed study period using clearly documented financial and operating assumptions.
Can you help with feasibility and early cost planning?
Yes. We prepare feasibility analyses, conceptual estimates and milestone cost plans that make early assumptions, risk allowances and major cost drivers visible.
Do you review change orders and variations?
Yes. We compare the proposed change against the original scope, measure additions and deletions, and organize labor, material, equipment and markup impacts for review.
